I am a very regular visitor to Greece, and I have considered to bring my Tom-Tom with me. After contacting Tom-Tom on Internet several times, I learned that there are still no maps available for Greece. Poor performance for a perfect GPS in most of Europe’s countries.
During cab trips from Athens airport to the city, I questioned the driver about his ‘MIO’ GPS which seemed to work well. Maps are available for the Athens and Thessaloniki area only. Also ‘GARMIN’ is offering same.
Both give you the choice of language; English is always included.
I guess it will take many years before maps for the mainland & the islands will become available.

- haha, i can read just fine, and yes i know what the Garmin Garage is because i used to have a Garmin and actually i had the same one you have the 255W, only reason i didn’t say another site is because i personally wouldn’t download and install anything into the Garmin unless its off of the garmin site, just wouldn’t trust another site, not just the quality of the voice but its no telling what else might be put into it with the download, so if you want to download and install something into the Garmin off of a knock off site then you can, just use google its great, and if you already have then i guess that means its nothing else, if you can’t find info from google then you either can’t use google and try different searches or its just nothing else there

I just bought a Mio A701 Pocket PC, it’s a 3-in-1 device, with mobile phone, GPS and Pocket PC (PDA) with Windows Mobile 5.
It has Internet Explorer but I want to browse the Internet on my PDA using the laptop’s Internet connection. The PDA has bluetooth and USB cable.
As far as I know, there is some kind of software that tells the PDA to use the laptop’s Internet connection, but I haven’t found one yet.
How can I trick the PDA to connect through the laptop, and not using GPRS?
