They want to buy gifts, system GPS, this holiday season. His options include TomTom XL - S and the Garmin Nuvi 260 (OR, 300c) between the TomTom and Garmin. The most popular company to choose? Which tend to have more complications or not. It is also my brother to have. How satified between the two devices. Garmin, which is more than enough of both? Please list any complications with general information that could persuade me to one machine over another. Thanks.

The GPS coordinates from Garmin GPS units seem to be off?

GPS you buy, you will be free to update to version updates. I have a Garmin, Microsoft and road travel and Delorme Street Atlas, I would tell the easiest to use the road. Microsoft and Delorme Street Atlas, but I travel is the best. Garmin sucks Delorme Street Atlas with a Bluetooth receiver that can not be for a cable connection to your laptop. Hope this helps.
