New road map Out every year for Nuvis StreetPilots and you want to look for products known. CityNavigator NT it is in the DVD or a SD card before loading. SD card before loading should be easier. So you use it you will not need to load software or DVD copy of the Map.

Garmin Streetpilot c330- how do I know if it’s charging?
I just got the Streetpilot (c330), and although I plugged it in to my car (did it correctly, through the base and plugged in both ways), it didn’t seem to charge (no indication of charging). Another indication: turned off, anid several times, “Battery low”. Seems like it didn’t charge. My car charger (cigarette lighter) works fine. Perhaps fuse is blown on the unit? Is there an indicator where the battery sign is (on the screen) which lets you know that it is charging? Also, does it have to be off when it charges? Thank you!
On the screen where it gives you the options: “view map” and “where to?”, in the top right corner it will show the battery life, but only if it is not charging. If it is charging, then it will have the time in the top right corner.

Best GPS for Real Estate Agents needing to find current streets and areas?
I am a realtor and I am wanting to get a good GPS device that keeps current streets and areas pretty accurate?
I have been looking into the Garmin C330, Garmin 340, TomTom one.
Is there a different one that might be better? or if one of these is the best can you tell me where to get the cheapest/best deal??
I have the TomTom. It’s the model that’s one up from the “One”. It works well. Very easy to search for addresses.

Garmin c330 question?
I got a garmin c330 and was wondering what were some cool add ons I can get? I also want the newest maps. any idea how to get those free?
you can search for POI (points of interest) files, ie. Harley, Starbucks, Target etc. and install them. The newest maps are 2008 that came out a couple months ago, and are a lot More accurate than V7 or V8 maps your unit came with. Garmin will send you the latest maps if you just bought it and it has older maps installed on it, and they will send the DVD with new maps at no charge. If you’ve had it a while and want to upgrade the maps they are $75. You can get the latest upgrades and patches etc. at mygarmin.com just register your unit and download the update software and your set. The c330is a great unit, I have had the c320 for about 3 years and I can’t find a new one I like enough to spend the money upgrading, the Garmin navigates great and the interface is so easy to use I just keep using it and getting everywhere I want to go. Garmin Battery Won’t Hold a Charge?
My Garmin StreetPilot c330 GPS battery no longer holds a charge. I use the mount to the dashboard, and the cord has to be plugged into the car and the unit for it to power on. It costs $150 for Garmin to repair it, which is more than I can buy one for!
So, does anyone know a trick to get it to start holding a charge again, or how to replace the battery and what type to buy?

Replacing the battery in these isn’t hard. You can replace it with a higher capacity battery than the original for under $20 USD.
The kink is that there are at least three different battery configurations in different strains of this model. Disassemble your unit, read through the thread below, and identify the battery type you need before ordering a replacement.
The replacement itself isn’t hard if you have any electronics skills.
