How can I damage my batteries are automatically placed on a trickle charger too often?
My cabbie and I work a lot of power. : Meter, the delivery computer,. Radio 2, Garmin GPS, and the Android phone once or twice a week,. I checked the battery meter. If it's below 12.6, I put it on a trickle charger. A few hours until it recharges. 12.8 to 13.0 I do not think anything is wrong with the battery or alternator. I was just checking out the dealers a few months ago, when I replaced the old battery. Thank you.
I do not think you are doing any harm. With trickle charger. However, most of the electronics you use very little power. As long as you're using the engine, most of the time you're using something that the alternator should be enough to keep the cost on your battery. If I want to have. Dashboard ammeter and voltmeter.
