which is better gps for average traveller..garmin c330 or garmin nuvi 350??

For the average traveller in the U.S., it seems me the c330 would be better. Both have the same maps and a touch screen, the Nuvi has text to speech (which you can get from the c340) and the language guides which are basically translators to different languages which I would never use here.
