GPS- global positioning system
It basically means u can buy or use satnav software on the phone.

GPRS - general packet radio service
Allows you to connect to the internet but at fairly slow speeds.
In comparison, the apple iPhone 3G has 3G internet or ‘3.5G’ internet connection, called HSDPA which is fairly fast.

To access the internet from your phone, in the spec, connection or band section, generally it should have either GPRS, EDGE or HSDPA on it. These refer to the type and speed of connection.

All the phones r pretty similar but i recomend the Q7 cos it looks better and has slightly faster internet

I recently got a BlackJack II, directly from AT&T Wireless’s website. I was reading online about the GPS and how it works. But it says it connects to a Satellite and not the network…therefore it says its free to use…is this true? Any answers at all would be helpful!

GPS stands for Global Positioning Satellites and they are maintained by the US Govt.

These satellites send out positioning signals for free all the time and if you phone is GPS capable, it can listen and tell you your location without using any AT&T or Verizon or any other wireless carriers air time.

You don’t need to do anything to connect to the Satellites, just turn your phone on.

I was just looking at Antarctica on Google Earth (or at least trying to look–no images are showing up, just a dark mass, as if the continent hasn’t been mapped yet by Google Earth) and was wondering if (at the risk of sounding morbid) there are any sort of GPS coordinates plotting where Antarctic explorer Robert Scott and his fateful comrades are buried on the ice pack. Has their burial site broken off the main glacier and ended up in the ocean yet? (For the record, I’m a huge Roald Amundsen buff, which is why I was wondering this about Robert Scott.)
I doubt that, Selena, the seals and baleen whales were probably killed when global warming caused huge chunks of the ice shelf to break off into the ocean, falling on the seals and baleen whales and turning them into food for any species we haven’t driven to extinction yet.
