I want to buy my hubby a GPS system for Christmas. Do I need to buy any accessories to go with it to make it usuable? I wasn’t sure about something that mounts to a windshield maybe.
Normally a GPS unit comes with the windshield mounting hardware and everything else you need to operate it. It has a suction cup sort of thing, and is easy to remove, since it is a good idea to hide the unit and mounting hardware when leaving the car in the open.

What is a good GPS navigation application for the iPhone 4?
I am currently using “Waze” GPS app on my iPhone, and it sucks. It alway give routes that are like detour routes, and when it comes time to switch to intersections on the freeway, it always seem to delay and tell you which intersection to take at the very last second. This is so dangerous, and I am looking at the dam GPS and wondering, should I go 10 E or 10 W? I dont mind paying for a good app, but I dont want to go overboard on spending. Probably, no more than $9.99.
