It basically means u can buy or use satnav software on the phone.

GPRS - general packet radio service
Allows you to connect to the internet but at fairly slow speeds.
In comparison, the apple iPhone 3G has 3G internet or ‘3.5G’ internet connection, called HSDPA which is fairly fast.

To access the internet from your phone, in the spec, connection or band section, generally it should have either GPRS, EDGE or HSDPA on it. These refer to the type and speed of connection.

All the phones r pretty similar but i recomend the Q7 cos it looks better and has slightly faster internet

hello i was wondering what would be a good handheld gps for me? i will need to mark hunting spots and fishing spots on it(quite a few of them). also i would like to have a map and it show me the way to my truck or spot. anything under 275 would be great. thanks for your help.

I recently got a BlackJack II, directly from AT&T Wireless’s website. I was reading online about the GPS and how it works. But it says it connects to a Satellite and not the network…therefore it says its free to use…is this true? Any answers at all would be helpful!

GPS stands for Global Positioning Satellites and they are maintained by the US Govt.

These satellites send out positioning signals for free all the time and if you phone is GPS capable, it can listen and tell you your location without using any AT&T or Verizon or any other wireless carriers air time.

You don’t need to do anything to connect to the Satellites, just turn your phone on.

If you are in the UK, you can go to Halfords, and the people that work their are really helpful, you can tell them what you need it for, example, in England, or in Europe, and they can then pick out the best one for your needs.
Also in Halfords they have paper next to them saying what the specifications are in understandable words !
If you’re not in the UK, you need to think about how often you would use it and what countries, write them down on a piece of paper and then take it to a shop which specialises in in-car entertainment, then ask the staff at the shop to help you, that is what they are there for !
