GPS and accessories question?

I want to buy my hubby a GPS system for Christmas. Do I need to buy any accessories to go with it to make it usuable? I wasn’t sure about something that mounts to a windshield maybe.

Normally a GPS unit comes with the windshield mounting hardware and everything else you need to operate it. It has a suction cup sort of thing, and is easy to remove, since it is a good idea to hide the unit and mounting hardware when leaving the car in the open.

N95 nokia maps works without loaded maps?

I’m planning to buy N95 but i’m concirmed about the GPS chip and map coverage over Mongolia. i would need application that allows me to view my position over manually calebrated map. TomTom and route 66 you name it but nothing has maps covering Mongolia.
is there any posibility for me to use the N95 GPS to position atleast with basic topographic map?

I was looking at certain garmin and magellan portble gps products. I dont have a car but would like a gps navigator that works well in a car as well as walking. Is there a difference between walking with them or driving?

No difference. The satalite system in the GPS figures out where you are. If you walk or drive, it’ll still pick up where you are.
